About Broadway from Home
We enable students from all over the world to work together in real time,
while being coached by professional actors and musicians.
Based on the award-winning Spotlight Summer Theater Workshop, now in its 13th year, Broadway from Home lets students work with Broadway performers and educators on acting and singing through a secure video platform.

The workshop starts with group warm-ups, theater games, and a Q&A session with a Broadway actor. Then the group separates into smaller online breakout rooms by age, where students work with professional actors on material from popular Broadway shows. We assign students their character and lines before each session, so they can look it all over before the workshop begins! Finally, we come back together as a group, and perform our scenes! Students are given the opportunity to be in the spotlight as much as they wish, including the chance to sing a solo for the group.
